New York’s FanDuel has announced that it has found its next Vice President, Sustainability & Responsible Gaming. In a press release, the gambling leader revealed that the position will be assumed by Alison Kutler, who will now make sure that the company’s responsible play and sustainability strategies correspond to its industry-leading customer protection model.
Based in the Empire State and with offices across several other jurisdictions, FanDuel is an innovative sports-tech entertainment company offering gaming, sports betting, daily fantasy sports, advance-deposit wagering, and TV/media. It is a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment plc, which is one of the world’s largest sports betting and gaming operators.
Welcoming the New Senior Operative
In her new position, Ms. Kutler will navigate the company’s responsible gambling organization inclusive of responsible gaming policy and regulatory affairs. She will also lead its RG training and product development, RG operations and the advocacy teams focused on the company’s Sportsbook, Casino, Racing, Daily Fantasy, and Retail functions. While also being responsible for the corporation’s continued sustainability efforts.
Christian Genetski, President of the gambling leader shared that the company is very lucky to have professionals of Ms. Kutler’s calibre joining their team in such a critical role at an important time for the firm. He praised the new operative, noting that she touts 25 years of experience in high-level government and private sector roles leading business, regulatory, policy and public affairs efforts.
Prior to her new position, some of her previous roles include, serving as the Senior Vice President, Global Government Affairs for Dapper Labs, which is a leading NFT and blockchain developer. Throughout her distinguished career, she also served as the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs for Americas for Visa and was also Principal at PwC.
However, that is not all from her, as she also held high levels positions in the U.S. government, including serving as Chief of the Consumer and Government Affairs Bureau and Special Advisor to the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission. She was the Director of the Trade Advocacy Center for the United State Department of Commerce.
Part of Many Regulated Sectors, including Ontario
As one of the leading names in the gambling industry, FanDuel operates in some of the largest and most competitive online gaming markets. The company also joined Ontario’s regulated framework for interactive gambling and sports betting, as it received a license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, which oversees the local market.
A few months after its official debut in Canada’s most populous province, the sportsbooks also teamed up with NFL in the country. FanDuel Sportsbook is now an official sportsbook partner for the league in Canada. And through the deal, the betting leader gained access to the league’s team market and allowed it to create NFL-themed free-to-play games and more for the many football fans.
